TOWN OF SHANDAKEN – A Kingston woman is charged with making bomb threats at a business on Route 28 in the Town of Shandaken early on Monday.
Staff called 911 after finding a handwritten note in the business indicating a bomb was going to go off. The building was checked by police along with a Town of Saugerties explosives detection K-9 and the threat was determined not to be credible.
Four notes were placed throughout the building and an investigation resulted in the arrest of Nicole Gorsline, 35, an employee, who was charged with four counts of felony falsely reporting an incident.  She was released on her own recognizance.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by State Police and town police from Shandaken and Saugerties.
