ELMSFORD – A 24-year-old White Plains man has been charged with
rape for allegedly having sex with a female acquaintance who was unconscious
and unable to consent.
State Police charged Benjamin Gomez with felony first-degree rape in connection
with the incident on Saturday, September 17.
A joint investigation by the White Plains, Elmsford and State Police resulted
in the arrest.
Gomez was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $150,000
bail pending a future court appearance.
