NEWBURGH – An 18-year-old New Windsor man is the latest victim of
the violence in Newburgh. Keyshan Gayle was shot in the head and back
in the area of Fullerton Avenue and Third Street at 11:15 p.m.
He was transported to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital’s Newburgh
campus where he was pronounced dead.
The State Police Major Crimes Unit and Orange County District Attorney’s
Office are assisting city police in the investigation.
