NEWBURGH – A search of a man, who was arrested by Newburgh City
Police early on Wednesday morning, led to his arrest on two counts of
felony criminal possession of drugs.
Kenneth Graham, 26, of the Town of Newburgh, was pulled over while driving
in the area of 86 William Street at 1:30 a.m. His driver’s license
was suspended and he was placed under arrest.
During a pat-down search, officers detected a foreign object in the groin
area of his pants and at police headquarters, a further search revealed
he had hidden 18 bundles of heroin – that’s 180 decks –
in his pants.
Graham was charged with two felony counts of drug possession and aggravated
unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
