Person of interest eyed in latest Newburgh murder

GOSHEN –Authorities have
a potential suspect in the latest Newburgh homicide, Orange County District
Attorney David Hoovler said on Wednesday. There has been no arrest at
this time.
Deandric Little, 29, of the Town of Newburgh walked into the St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Newburgh emergency room just before 8 p.m. on Monday, August 1, with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transferred to Westchester Medical Center where he died.
Newburgh City Police is leading the investigation, with help from several other agencies.
This is the third homicide in the city this year.
