Three charged in Newburgh armed robbery

NEWBURGH – Two men were arrested by Newburgh City Police on charges of armed robbery in connection with a holdup in the area of 69 Varrick Homes last Wednesday morning.
The victim provided police with descriptions of the assailants and their vehicle and officers were able to locate the vehicle and arrest the alleged robbers.
Charges with armed robbery and criminal possession of a weapon were Michael Robinson, 19, of Newburgh and Jailian Talley, 22, of West Point. A woman in the car, Alexa Proper, 19, of Kingston, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Newburgh Town and New Windsor Police assisted city police in the arrests.
