NEWBURGH – Mount Saint Mary College officials announced on Thursday that they are moving forward with the search for an interim president. “Our goal continues to be to identify and appoint an interim president as soon as possible,” said Charles Frank, chairman of the Newburgh college’s Board of Trustees.
Officials at the school and community stakeholders have determined the attributes of a successful interim president and the priorities for the interim candidate.
Frank said they have already had many strong candidates referred through the college community. “We will assess and interview all viable interim candidates,” he said.
Once an interim president is appointed, the board will determine the timing and process of the search for a permanent president.
