WHITE PLAINS – The Westchester County Local Development Corporation approved $8.15 million in low-cost bond financing for Cardinal McCloskey Community Services.
Of that, $6.5 million will be used by the Valhalla-based not-for-profit to refinance outstanding mortgages for group homes in White Plains, Ossining, New Rochelle and Katonah. The refinancing will save the agency $300,000 over 10 years. The remaining $1.65 million will be used for the purchase and renovation of a building at 145 North Highland Avenue in Ossining.
Founded in 1946, Cardinal McCloskey Community Services strives to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.
