Two arrested on drug charges in Ulster

TOWN OF ULSTER – Two Ulster County men are in the county jail following their arrests after URGENT Task Force officers observed a narcotics transaction in the parking lot of a gas station on Lucas Avenue in the Town of Ulster.
When officers approached, one of those involved, Jaime Marryshow, 31, of Hurley, fled on foot and was apprehended in a nearby backyard. The seller, Michael Rich, 31, of Kingston, was apprehended at the scene.  Heroin and a hypodermic needle discarded by Marryshow while fleeing were recovered.
Marryshow was charged with felony tampering of physical evidence and misdemeanors of criminal possession of drugs, resisting arrest, loitering and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.  He is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Rich was charged with the felonies of criminal possession and sale of drugs.  He is being held without bail.
