Drunk driver arrested after side-swiping State Police car

GREENBURGH – A woman, who exited I-287 in the Town of Greenburgh
at about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, was arrested after she sideswiped a State
Police car and then struck another vehicle.

Troopers arrested Lisa Buerle, 52, of White Plains was found to be intoxicated
and a test determined her BAC was 0.15 percent. As a result, she was charged
with a misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated and several vehicle and
traffic violations.

Greenburgh Ambulance responded and tended to the drivers of the car that
was struck and the state trooper. The two civilian drivers were not injured.
The trooper sustained an arm and shoulder injury, was treated and released.
