POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police are investigating the cause of death
of a 36-year-old City of Poughkeepsie woman who was found unresponsive
behind 121 Parker Avenue Monday afternoon.
Police received a 911 call that a man had found the woman, who was described
as a female acquaintance, unresponsive. He brought her to MidHudson Regional
Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police did not release the identity of the woman.
There was no visible cause of death and an autopsy will be conducted by
the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said.
The investigation into the death is continuing.
