NEW WINDSOR – Orange County Legislator Christopher Eachus, who ran
and lost against State Senator William Larkin (R-Cornwall-on-Hudson) two
years ago, will take a second stab at the seat this fall.

The 39th Senate District encompasses most of Orange County as well as
communities in Ulster and Rockland counties.

“For too long, Hudson Valley families have been forced to watch
their state government be a national laughing stock, all while our taxes
have sky-rocketed and our schools have been underfunded,” Eachus
said. “The time has come for a change, and that is why I will be
running for State Senate.”

Orange County Democratic Party Chairman Brett Broge said Eachus is “a
proven fighter for cleaning up corruption, improving our schools, and
supporting our senior citizens.”
