CARMEL – Three Mahopac men were arrested following an incident outside a Mahopac house at 8:30 in the morning on Wednesday, May 11. Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a report of five men fighting with crowbars in the front yard. Two of the men required medical treatment for injuries.
Three of the men were arrested. Dillon Vandewater-Clifford, 19; Leoun Rexhepi, 20; and Joseph Kotzur-O’Connor, 18, are all charged with felonies of attempted burglary, assault and robbery. Kotzur-O’Connor was also charged with felony criminal mischief.
All three men are in the Putnam County Jail. Bail was set at $15,000 each for Vandemark-Clifford and Rexhepi, and $50,000 for Kotzur-O’Connor.
