NEWBURGH – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh is seeking qualified applicants for its homeownership program. Families that qualify must earn between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income.
The organization is also looking for two families that would qualify for a handicapped-accessible house.

To date, 91 families – 260 children and 155 adults – have partnered with Habitat by investing sweat equity into the construction of the homes, participating in required homeowner education classes, and signing a mortgage.
