Speed zone police detail nets 38 tickets in Cortlandt

CORTLANDT – A school speed enforcement detail conducted by Cortlandt State Police between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday resulted in 39 motorists being ticketed for going too fast.
Troopers also issued one ticket for a cell phone violation and one for seat belt violation.
When driving in neighborhoods with bus stops, schools and school zones, watch out for children, the police advise.
