Marlboro woman accused of prescription fraud

MARLBORO – State Police arrested a Marlboro woman for allegedly signing for a controlled substance prescription for an acquaintance at a pharmacy. Troopers said Shannon Weller, 42, had intended to sell the drugs.
When police investigated the April 12 incident the following day, they found the prescription in her possession.
Weller was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, and for misdemeanors of forgery, criminal impersonation and petit larceny.  She was released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
