MAHOPAC – Putnam County’s first BIZCON, billed as the county’s
home, business and lifestyle show, drew large crowds to the Putnam County
Golf Course on Saturday. The annual event was previously called the Shop
Putnam Expo.
Some 75 local businesses and non-profit groups displayed their goods and
services in addition to seminars being held.
Celebrity guests included Marty Lyons, former New York Jets football star
and Mahopac’s own Amanda Ayala, NBC “The Voice” contestant.
The event was co-sponsored by the Putnam county Economic Development Corporation,
Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and Cornell Cooperative Extension of
Putnam.
