Three teens charged with stabbing man in gang attack

SAUGERTIES – Three Saugerties teens are in the Ulster County Jail
without bail after they allegedly ganged up on a 20-year-old man and stabbed
him several times in the torso.

Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said someone threw a brick through
an apartment window at 28 MacDonald Street at 2:16 a.m. Friday and when
a 20-year-old male occupant came out, at least three men ganged up on
him. The victim was transported by Diaz Ambulance and transported to the
Health Alliance Hospital – Broadway Campus in Kingston, where he
underwent emergency surgery for injuries to his spleen, stomach and intestines.
He was listed late Friday afternoon in stable condition in the ICU.

Arrested and charged with felony gang assault and misdemeanor criminal
mischief were Thomas Murray, 17; Angel Stokes, 16; and Shaquan Stokes,
18, all of 156 West Bridge Street in the Village of Saugerties.
