KINGSTON – A confrontation at a residence in Port Ewen resulted
in the arrests of three women.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an altercation
at 4:15 p.m. on March 31with investigation determining that Ariana Shatzel-Relyea,
18, of Lake Katrine and Kaleigh Sheckler, 18, of Kingston had conspired
to confront and attack a third woman, Alyssa Turner, 20, of Port Ewen.
During the altercation, Turner allegedly threatened the other women with
a metal object Sheckler damaged a mobile device belonging to another person.
Minor injuries were sustained by all three.
Turner was charged with misdemeanors of assault and menacing. Schatzel-Relyea
was charged with misdemeanors of assault and conspiracy. Sheckler was
charged with misdemeanor assault, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
All three were issued appearance tickets returnable to Esopus Town Court.
