Connecticut man arrested with 20 phony license plates

MILAN – State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested a Bridgeport, Connecticut man on Thursday, March 31 after he was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway for a vehicle and traffic violation in the Town of Milan.
Troopers found Lamy Aldophe, 30, in possession of 19 counterfeit Delaware dealer license plates, one of which was on the vehicle he was driving. He was charged with possessing a counterfeit Connecticut driver’s license with a false name and date of birth as well as 20 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, as felonies.
Aldophe was sent to the Dutchess County Jail.
