NEWBURGH – A 51-year-old Newburgh man was shot and killed in the
city at about 9:15 Friday night.
Newburgh Police identified the victim as Glenton Wright. The shooting
occurred in the area of 50 Benkard Avenue.
There were no other reported victims.
The incident remains under investigation and police ask anyone with information
to call them at 845-561-3131.
