Four arrested at Wallkill motel with drugs worth over $170,000 on the street

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Orange County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday
charged four St. Lawrence county residents with felony drug charges after
they discovered heroin and cocaine while questioning them while they were
parked at the Super 8 Motel in the Town of Wallkill.

A search of their vehicle resulted in the discovery of some 160 grams
of heroin and approximately 54 grams of cocaine along with several controlled
medications. The drugs had a combined street value of over $170,000, police
said.

Arrested on felony drug possession charges were Matthew Allen, 29, of
Massena; Chase Baxter, 22, of Norfolk; Abby Smithers, 20, and Leann Main,
27, both of Ogdensburg.

All four were remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail.

Sheriff Carl DuBois commended the deputies for “their observation
skills and diligence.”
