STONY POINT – A Stony Point man was arrested on Friday after an argument with a neighbor turned violent.
Stony Point Town Police said Everard Bernard, 64, was involved in a dispute with a neighbor when he allegedly pulled a knife and slashed the victim in the inner portion of his right forearm. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS personnel and refused further medical treatment.
Bernard was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
