NEWBURGH – Mount Saint Mary College President Dr. Anne Carson Daly’s last day on the job will be April 15.
The leader of the four-year Newburgh school said that “in the last two months some serious family issues have developed to the point that they need to be addressed immediately. To do this adequately will require frequent and extended periods of absence from Newburgh – which would be incompatible with my continuing to serve as president.”
Daly had been the brunt of criticism from a number of constituencies
on the campus including some students, faculty and Sisters.
