Gunman holds up Wallkill restaurant

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police
are looking for a lone gunman who held up two clerks at the Thai Fu Restaurant
at 680 Route 211 East in the Town of Wallkill.
Police said the robber entered the store at around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday
armed with a handgun, held up two employees and made off with $300 in
cash.  He fled through the rear of the store.
An Orange County Sheriff’s K-9 unit was called in to assist Wallkill Police in the search.
The suspect was described as black and about six feet tall. He wore sunglasses
and had a black bandanna masking his face.
