ALBANY – The New York State Conservative Party endorsed Philip Oliva in the 18th District congressional race this fall.
Last week, Republican committees in the district endorsed him.
State Conservative Chairman Michael Long cited Oliva’s more than
20 years of experience in the private and public sectors, “his conservative
principles” and his history of helping in Conservative Party causes
and issues.
“The country is headed in the wrong direction and we can trust Phil Oliva to help get America back on the right track by being a strong and principled leader in Washington and not becoming part of the problem as so many do,” Long said.
The winner of the GOP primary will face either Democratic Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney or his primary challenger, Diana Hird.
