Two Westchester fugitives arrested by task force

NEW YORK – The joint federal-state US Marshal’s Service task force has arrested two people wanted on separate charges.
Elizabeth Campbell, 32, of Yonkers, was arrested on a warrant for assault and resisting arrest from the City of Yonkers Police Department.
Jessamy Turhan, 51, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on a warrant for violation of his state parole after a conviction for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both individuals were turned over to the respective wanting agencies.
The arrests were made by State Police investigators of the Violent Felony Warrant Squad assigned to the Manhattan barracks and detailed with the US Marshal’s Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
