SPRING VALLEY – Ramapo Police Tuesday afternoon arrested a 20-year-old
Spring Valley man following a stabbing on Brook Street in the village.
Police said a 20-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his right hand.
He was treated at the scene by Rockland Paramedics and Spring Hill Ambulance
before being transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
Following an investigation, police arrested Jonathan DaSilva of Spring
Valley and charged him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
