TOWN OF LLOYD – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Highland man on four felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and violation of state parole.
On February 13, parole officers and Ulster deputies executed a parole warrant at a motel on Route 9W in the Town of Lloyd and tool Marcus Lovett, 31, of Highland into custody. Further investigation with the assistance of an Ulster Sheriff’s K-9 resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of heroin and crack cocaine. State Police also assisted in the investigation.
Lovett was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
