KINGSTON – Police have arrested a Saugerties man following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.
In late 2015, URGENT received information about narcotics being sold by a Saugerties resident with an investigation being conducted. Undercover officers purchased ecstasy from the suspect in the Town of Ulster.
On January 26, police arrested Raymond Portuondo, 36, of Saugerties. He was charged with felonies of criminal sale and possession of drugs for the sale of the ecstasy and one count of possession for cocaine found on him when arrested.
Portuondo was released to reappear in town court at a later date.
