Ulster sex offender charged with felony for failing to report change of address

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Town of Wawarsing man on a charge that as a registered sex offender, he did not notify authorities of his change of address to Wawarsing for over two years.
Robert Geter, 39, had moved from his previous residence in the City of Newburgh.
Geter was arrested on the felony charge and committed to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
City of Newburgh Police assisted deputies in his arrest.
