Youth program grant funding available in Ulster County

KINGSTON – The Ulster
County Bureau is accepting request applications for New York State Office
of Children and Family Services Youth Development grants.

The county youth bureau administers the Youth Development Program and
Runaway & Homeless Shelter funding from the state and county to support
youth programs.

Although state funding amounts for the 2016 calendar year have not yet
been determined, agencies and municipalities interested in receiving the
funding are encouraged to apply.

Eligible agencies must be not-for-profit or community-based organizations
with federal identification or charities registration numbers.

Programs receiving Youth Development Program grants are funded up to 100
percent of approved expenses up to the allocated amount.

Applications are due no later than Friday, February 12.
