YONKERS – Yonkers Associate
Budget Director Andrew Lenney has been named budget director by Mayor
Michael Spano.
Lenney has held the associate director’s post since 2012. His career
in municipal budgets spans 16 years, having worked with New York City,
Westchester County and Yonkers.
Spano said Lenney “has been an instrumental member of the Finance
and Budget team over the last three years, managing and reorganizing the
city’s municipal and Board of Education finances.” The mayor
said Lenney’s “extensive experience dealing with large-scale
budgets proves to be invaluable and he is a great choice for the City
of Yonkers as we work to secure the city’s financial future.”
