NEW CITY – A 48-year-old New City woman has been indicted by a Rockland
County grand jury on a charge of grand larceny for allegedly stealing
$123,849 from the New City Library bank account.

Barbra Dubois was an employee at the library at the time that she allegedly
created a fictional corporation in June 2013 and through this June wrote
checks to that fake company – EBCSO – from the library bank
account.

In total, she wrote 13 checks. Authorities said she reversed the letters
“s” an “c” when she opened the bank account in
an effort to conceal her crime.
