NEW CITY – A California man was indicted by a Rockland County grand jury for murdering a 66-year-old West Nyack man in his home on December 1.
Dylan Lentini, 19, of Vacaville, California, was indicted on four counts of murder in the death of Michael Wimbert.
The victim was stabbed 24 times in what Rockland District Attorney Thomas Zugibe called “an extremely brutal attack.”
Lentini was in Wimbert’s 68 Demarest Avenue, West Nyack home at about 1:45 a.m. on attacked and stabbed the victim.
Lentini remains in the Rockland County Jail. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
