STONY POINT – A man wanted on several warrants by State Police
evaded police on Friday after he was spotted leaving a business at the
Colonial Plaza in Stony Point late Friday morning.
Antonio Kelly, 31, of Spring Valley, fled when police responded to the
shopping center. A perimeter was established, but he was able to escape
undetected and as of Friday night, remained at large.
Kelly is wanted by State Police at the Middletown Barracks for abandonment
of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and o0bstructing
governmental information. He is wanted by Clarkstown Police for unauthorized
use of a motor vehicle and state Division of Parole for forgery.
Stony Point Police were assisted by Town of Haverstraw Police, the Rockland
County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, Rockland County Intel, County Sheriff’s
Aviation and Patrol Units, State Park Police K-9 Unit, State Police and
State Parole office,
