FISHKILL – State Police at the Wappinger barracks have charged
a Staten Island woman with promoting prison contraband as a misdemeanor
and unlawful possession of marijuana as a violation.
Troopers said Brenda Concepcion, 47, allegedly brought marijuana into
Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill when she went there on November
25 to visit a prisoner.
State Police were assisted by the state prison system.
Concepcion was issued an appearance ticket returnable to town court.
