VALATIE – The Village of Valatie is participating in today’s Shop Small Saturday to support local independent businesses. The day is aimed at supporting neighborhood businesses and their contributions to the community and economy, the Valatie Economic Redevelopment Association said.
When the people shop at small, local stores, more than 50 percent of
the money spent stays in the community, officials said.
This is the sixth year the village is celebrating the Small Business Saturday.
