Fire destroys artist workshop in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES – Fire of unknown origin destroyed a barn that had been converted into an artist workshop in Saugerties.
The two-alarm fire on Overbaugh Street was first reported around noon.  There were no reports of injuries.
The cause is unknown but is not believed suspicious.
