PLATTEKILL –
The Town of Plattekill Veterans Memorial Park is going to receive a financial
shot in the arm from the state as Senator William Larkin has secured a
$150,000 grant to complete its construction.

The project was started by the Town of Plattekill Veterans Committee with
the support of town officials.

The committee has been fundraising for several years to support the project
and has raised over $30,000.

Larkin was able to secure the remaining money to ensure the park is built.

“With these funds our community can now look forward to completing
this project and realizing the vision of the Town of Plattekill Veterans
Committee,” said Town Supervisor Joseph Croce.
