Two charged with stealing laptop from store

KINGSTON – Two Kingston residents were charged with felony grand larceny for stealing a laptop from Aaron’s Rental Store in Kingston Plaza.
Kareem Bonaventure, 40, and Mary Mauro, 44, were arrested Monday evening after they took the computer. City Police found the two a short distance away from the plaza and found in possession of the device.
Bonaventure was also charged with felony criminal contempt as he was found in violation of an order of protection. The felony stems from his having previously been convicted of violating an order of protection within the last five years.
