MIDDLETOWN – Clemson Bros. Brewery will open this Saturday in the completely restored Clemson Bros. building in the City of Middletown, which once produced hack saw blades.
The brewery “is a dynamic and unique addition to our business community since it not only represents the new trend in America of craft beers but a significant investment by the Porter family into the City of Middletown,” said Mayor Joseph DeStefano.
“We do not just strive to craft at Clemson Bros. Brewery, we aim to pioneer,” said Kenan Porter, owner-operator. “It is our focus to preserve the spirit of our predecessor’s legacy. We are a brewery for the true craft enthusiast and we do whatever it takes to get the job done at the end of the day.”
The new operation will contain a seven-barrel system and is anticipating 1,000 barrels produced in their first year of operation.
