Woman visiting prison arrested bring drugs to boyfriend

WAWARSING – A woman who was visiting an inmate at the Eastern Correctional Facility at Napanoch has been arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband.
State Police charged Cynthia Ulett-Holmes, 53, of Brooklyn with the felony of promoting contraband and a misdemeanor for criminal possession of a controlled substance.  She allegedly came to visit her husband, who is incarcerated there and was found in possession of amphetamines when officers conducted a property search.
Ulett-Holmes was committed to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
