Lloyd police administer Narcan for fourth time this year

HIGHLAND – Police in the Town of Lloyd successfully revived a person who had overdosed on drugs on Wednesday, making that the fourth time this year officers used the miracle pharmaceutical.
Police were called to a report of a man unconscious and unresponsive in a room at the Atlas Motor Lodge in Highland just before 11:30 a.m. They found a 29-year-old Poughkeepsie man, who had overdosed.  Police and Mobile Life Support Services medics administered Narcan, which revived him.
The man was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for observation.
