NEWBURGH – City officials in Newburgh will address potholes much quicker with the launch of “FYI Newburgh,” smart phone app.
City Manager Michael Ciaravino said residents can serve as spotters to alert City Hall of problems to be addressed ASAP.
“With FYI Newburgh you can take pictures of potholes in the streets, building code violations, or anything else that concerns our citizens and it automatically is wired to go into our various departments for immediate action,” he said.
Ciaravino said the city successfully tested a beta version of the app last winter.
