TOWN OF WALLKILL – A Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania woman who is five months pregnant is in the Orange County Jail after she was observed driving drunk with her two small children in her car Friday afternoon.
Danielle Gaetano, 32, was arrested by Wallkill Town Police after she attempted to drive away from the McDonalds on Route 211 in an intoxicated condition.
She was charged with DWI and endangering the welfare of a child because her five-year-old son and four-year-old daughter were in the car. Subsequent to her arrest, a search of her car led to the discovery of 276 Oxycodone pills and a switchblade knife. That led to charges of criminal possession of drugs and a weapon.
Gaetano was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center for observation since she is pregnant and then sent to the county jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
