SHAWANGUNK – A 19-year-old Shawangunk
woman has been arrested on charges that she broke into her former employer’s
business in the Town of Gardiner on two occasions, stole bank checks and
cashed over $1,000.
Jessica McClintock was charged with burglary, grand larceny, forgery and
possession of a controlled substance.
McClintock was also found to have fraudulently endorsed the name of
another person in order to cash the stolen checks. During her arrest,
she was found in possession of Suboxone without a prescription.
McClintock was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu
of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
