FISHKILL – Due to a shortage of rainfall
this spring and summer, the Town of Fishkill is asking residents in the
Merritt Water District to voluntarily conserve water, particularly outdoor
usage.
People are asked not to wash their cars with a hose; use a car wash; refrain
from watering laws; and refrain from washing streets, sidewalks, driveways
or exteriors of structures with a hose.
Residents are asked to use good judgment to conserve this resource.
