MONROE – Two Chester residents have
been arrested for possession of heroin after the car in which they were
riding was stopped on Route 17 Sunday evening for several traffic violations.

During the investigation, the female passenger, identified as Ashley Lovelace,

over 1,200 decks of heroin – some 367 grams – in the vehicle.

The driver, Andrew Mitchell, 40, of Chester, was charged with two felony
counts and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled

Lovelace was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. She was released
