CANAAN – State Police have charged two teens from Berkshire Farm with felony burglary.
Quajon Rhodes, 16, and Durante Tirado, 18, were arrested following an investigation into a residential break-in.  Both were sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail each.
Homeowners in a Town of Canaan residence told troopers that someone had entered their residence and stole a computer tablet and speakers.
Investigation determined the two teens had left their scheduled programs at Berkshire Farm during the time of the reported break-in and were seen going into a wooded area in the vicinity of Tremper Association Road after which it is alleged them broke into the home and stole property.
Police continue to investigate and the pair could face additional charged, they said.
